A complete review of Realme 5i specs, camera, storage, battery, price, performance, etc.
Realme recently
launched the realme 5i, which is
nothing but a watered-down version
of the realme 5. The major difference
between the 2 phones is on the front
camera. realme 5i is another awesome smartphone
by realme under the price segment
of 10,000 pieces. After using this 5i for a while, here is our initial review of realme
5i.
The realme 5i is the company's
latest quad-camera phone. It is yet
another good budget-oriented phone. which
will compete with the likes of Redmi
note 8 and Redmi 8. It doesn't come with
the company's signature diamond-cut
design, seen on realme 5 and real me
5s. Instead, you get a textured back, which the company calls as the sunrise
design. I personally love the sunrise design more than the diamond-cut design as
we have seen on other devices from realme.

The phone is still made out of
plastic and rear camera and button placements
are also identical. the realme 5i
features a big 6.52-inch display
with a Mini Drop Notch. Realme says that
the notch on this device is 39%
smaller than the previous phone's notch. it has a maximum brightness of 418 nits, which is good enough when viewing the phone outdoors. while the big size
makes one-hand usage pretty difficult. The massive 6.52-inch screen is a boon for bench
watchers.
Realme 5i performance
The smartphone draws its power
from Qualcomm Snapdragon 665
SOC. You will find the same Snapdragon
chipset on the Redmi Note 8 as well. Realme 5i is a capable phone and
can handle day-to-day tasks with ease. You can easily play games like subway
surfer and even PUBG mobile.
The company
selling this phone in only one variant 4gb RAM and 64gb storage. It can expandable up to 256 GB. Realme 5i is priced
at rupees 8999 in India. We found the
fingerprint scanner to be well-positioned and it is quick enough to unlock
the phone. Realme is still offering
a micro USB port instead of USB type-c
port available on the latest Xiaomi Redmi products. Realme 5i runs
Android 9 Pie with color OS skin on the top.
Realme 5i camera details
Realme hasn't changed the cameras
on the realme 5I and you get the same
camera setup as on the realme 5. It has
the 12-megapixel main camera and 8
megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2
megapixel macro camera. at the front, Realme 5i has an 8-megapixel sensor instead
of the 13-megapixel camera on Realme 5. In the daylight, the new realme 5i phone
can capture shots with good color
reproduction and objects at the distance
were recognizable. in the low-light, it takes decent shots but objects
at distance lack details. which is the
case with most budget phones. video
recording maxes out at 4k for the primary
camera and you get option to shoot
only at 30fps.
Realme 5i price and battery
one of the biggest OSM piece of the phone is 5000 mAh battery. You can expect up to two days
of battery life with very light usage. the sad part is that, the phone lack
support for fast charging tech but supports
reverse charging. it ships with 10-watt
charger which will take more than two
and a half hours to fully top up the
phone.
overall the realme 5i and the realme 5 are
identical in almost all the aspects
with the main difference being in the front camera and the sunrise design. both the headsets offer the same experience
and the new one is good enough to
be on top of your list. Also, realme
will be phasing out the original realme 5
in favor of the realme 5i.
So, that's
pretty much for the new quad-camera phone review. we hope you get the info that you want to know about realme 5i specs, camera, storage, performance, price, etc.
